Another drama as notable PDP leaders, members takes oath of allegiance to Fayose.

9jabomnews confirmed that some members of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP have been captured in a footage which has gone viral on the social media where they were engaged in an oath to remain loyal and never to betray the former governor of the state Chief Ayodele Fayose.

The video showed some notable members of the Ekiti state chapter of Peoples Democratic party in Ijero Local Government, laying curses on themselves should they by any means betray the former governor, Ayo Fayose.

In what looks gory and incredible to many, some also wonder if politics in Nigeria has become a do or die affairs.

Present at the ‘Shrine’ included the former chairman of the party in the state, Chief Bola Olu-Ojo, former member of the State House Assembly, Hon Dayo Akinleye Maxima and Mr Mike Adeosun.

Others include Mr Segun Ademile, Mr Aniyikaye Michael Ayo, Mr Olayiwola Oderinde, Princess Oriade Adefunke, Mr Ayo Komolafe, Mr Michael Ojo and Mrs Yemisi Fajuyi. The others were Mr Taye Olusile, Osalusi Niyi (Youth Leader), Oni Dada, Wale Owoeye, Dele Mackurly, Mr Abiodun Olu, Kehinde Agbede, Olu Asiwaju, Adeola Adebayo, Kayode Olaleye and others.

The literary interpretation of their oath is that, after mentioning their names individually, then they declared; “If they betray Osoko Ayo Fayose, may the ground swallow them.”

The move was believed to have been taken to prevent some of them from moving to Olujimi’s camp.
